Classic Movie Streams
You need realplayer to see these. I haven't tried this site before, but I like the concept of it. Hey, why not watch a movie over computer if you have time to kill? Neat stuff.
Space Proxy
This is a cool service, even though I don't use it. It slows me down a little, and I'm too impatient for it. That's what having a cable modem does to a person. But yeah, sure, if I'm having a particularly paranoid day. . .
Copernic: Smart Websearch Software
I got this a little while ago, and it's been great so far. You can pick another specialized search area as well (like german, french, etc), and my results have been pretty damn good. It's like doing a meta-search, only a lot faster and nicely navigable because you store some info on your hard drive. You can also save searches, which is handy. It's free, and worth checking out.
By A Thread
This is my anti-Valentines music. A friend described it as "a tougher Sunny Day Real Estate," and that's a decent descriptor. You can check out some tracks in realaudio.
TransFans: For Fans of the Transformers
I know I'm a nostalgic idiot, but fuck. Transformers were awesome. I loved them so much. And this site has lots of stuff, including Transformers comics!
I also loved the Super Friends. If you're pining for dubious 80s animations like I am, check out the alphabetical index.I remember getting Transformers and Superfriends valentines in grade-school. Now that's what I call romance.
Eric Conveys an Emotion
Send in your requests, and Eric will try to convey them to his webcam. I especially like the "Kill" one. It's just murder-licious.
Infiltration: The Zine About Going Places You're Not Supposed To Go
I'd love to have a subscription to this. It reminds me of my urge to check out the so-called "vic underground," various abandoned buildings, and generally being anywhere that's supposedly restricted access. Oh, those crazy kids.
The Unholy Black-Metal Song-Title-O-Matic
I think that Diabolical Masquerade has used this device, probably for the album on which the songs aren't called "Blackheim's Sphere, Blackheim's Woods, Blackheim's Castle," etc. etc.
Marduk probably used it too. I love cheese.
God, this is sad.
Go to the one from Victoria.
Seriously, this is the kind of person I went to high-school with.
I was looking at this weird little site that I went to from "Hey Url". Apparently, it's a site where lonely folk post their pictures and hope that people will message them or email them. I don't really know why this would seem like a good idea.
And people ask me why I don't get any action. It's because that's the action.
Crazy Bitch Homepage
The damage is amazing. I can't believe it. If you read the story it makes more sense. He should have known better. But jeez. The poor playstation!
Warning: do not read the so called 'rap lyrics'. They suck major ass.
Mullets Galore
"mulletude (mu' li' tewd): the attitude that comes with the adornment of the mullet, behaviors can include the following: beating one's spouse, scowling or sneering at those who don't have mullets, engaging in fights on a regular basis (preferably with those who are not part of the mullet brotherhood). . .listening to butt-rock, attending monster truck rallies."
"Butt-rock (but-rk) rock n' roll music produced from the mid 70's to present that has the following characteristics: four or five male members (with the exception of Rush) with long, feathered hair (bangs are common, but not neccesary) or mullets, wailing guitar solos, distorted guitars, and lyrics about women, sex, drugs, Satan, and fast cars. Butt-Rock for a new Generation: Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit, White Zombie, (don't send me any more e-mails bitching about the bands listed, if you like any of those bands, I don't want to hear from you, Mulletboy)."
Oh, just go to this site. I laughed, I cried, I screamed in horror at the porn-mullet section. . .
Zaius: Post Human Archive
I still don't really get this. It's a pretty random assortment, with sporadic tie-ins to Planet of the Apes. I like it though, it's kinda cool.
Hmm, I Can See Their Point
I actually agree with a lot of this. Honestly, it's pretty interesting. I've always been curious about this stuff. Not that I'm gonna join up anytime soon, but their ideology is, at first glance, closer to my moral code than what Christians tend to spout at me.
I just wish that the site weren't so ugly.
Botch Tour Games
To say that these are games is a bit of a stretch I think, but they remind me of hanging out with Kyrath. I especially like the "Biker's Ass" game. Check out the rest of the Botch page. They rock out, and they have the mp3s to prove it.
